Hays Dowdy:
Hays Dowdy is a Baltimore based alternative indie artist and multi-instrumentalist known for a focus on lead guitars paired with baroque lyricism. Backed by a high-energy live band, Hays delivers a psychedelic fusion of classically inspired pop-punk, agile grooves, and ethereal harmonies. His top-streamed single, "Voodoo Doll (feat. Abby Sevcik)”, is out now, and his debut album, Dreaming in Seven Senses, was released on January 10, 2025.
Sam Elmore & the Ghosts:
Sam Elmore is a pioneering voice in the realm of Pop Rock/New Americana whose songwriting ethos is at once timeless and acutely tuned-in to the socio-political mores of the present. A genre-bending troubadour, Elmore’s work draws from the rich storytelling traditions of folk music, blended with explosive pop hooks and an expansive wall of sound.
The Morelias:
The Morelias are an Indie Punk band led by Mexican songwriter, Danny Ortiz. After spending most of his life as drummer, Danny has organized this project to explore and share his songwriting in the punk and rock genres. Their influences range from 70s punk to modern indie music you’d hear at DIY shows and festivals. Give them a listen at your favorite DC music spots.
