Bloiters: the Bloiters boys met working at Right Proper Brew Pub, fell madly in love with each other, and started jamming in 2024. some grungy and twangy guitar madness, some alty easy listening. prepare to Bloit (ig: bloiters)

Endlings: four friends making music at the event horizon. drawing on a wide and varied set of influences, their music has emerged as raw and expansive, dark and exploratory. they are making heads bang and hearts throb at music venues across the D.C metro area with a bleeding edge sound. the old world is dying, and the new world struggles to be born: now is the time of monsters. This show is a benefit for HIPS - DC's Harm Reduction Home

HIPS has a long history of supporting communities marginalized by sex work and drug use. You can read more about our mission at www.hips.org. Our new satellite office located at 1726 7th St NW, lovingly nicknamed "The Shop," has allowed us to better serve our clients at the 7th St/T St hotspot, where we provide microcounseling in harm reduction such as how to test substances using testing strips and how to administer Narcan, as well as offering a needle exchange program. We also connect our clients to our main office at 906 H St NE and to other helping organizations in DC.

This new satellite office helps keep us stocked when we are doing our street outreach, as well as offer our clients a safe space to sit, have a snack, talk to a trusted peer, and use the bathroom. However, we are looking to raise money to keep this site supported and stocked while we undergo budgeting changes due to the current administration. In addition, we are reviving the Nightlife project to bring harm reduction supplies such as fentanyl/xylazine testing strips, Narcan, ear plugs, safer sex supplies, etc to shows happening in the DMV! This project is currently funded entirely through donations.
