Unusual for the medium, the prints are strikingly large in scale, inviting viewers to engage with them physically as well as visually. Walker’s artistic vision was shaped by a formative move from Washington, DC to a Wyoming ranch, where the vast horizon and solitude of the plains instilled a lasting reverence for nature’s scale.
