Dress for Success Washington, D.C. Congressional Suit Challenge and Power Breakfast
Dress for Success Washington, D.C.'s signature event, the Congressional Suit Challenge, is a friendly competition that will result in hundreds of Congressional members, staffers, corporate leaders, and community-based supporters donating professional clothing for women re-entering the workforce.
The Power Breakfast will bring together members of Congress, leaders from the United Nations, and corporate executives on Friday, March 8, International Women's Day. Joi Gordon, CEO of Dress for Success Worldwide, will moderate a panel featuring a diverse group of women leaders sharing their point of view on important topics impacting women in the workplace.
Research shows that feelings of confidence and self-assurance are critical in landing and keeping a job. The professional attire collected at the Congressional Suit Challenge will go a long way in preparing and empowering clients of DFSWDC and will help them successfully interview and re-enter the workforce.
Please join us on this important day to support not only women in the DC area, but also around the world.
