During the first half of class, students will create a digital poster in Figma while learning foundational design techniques including layout, typography, composition, and color planning for riso printing. We’ll also cover how to separate artwork into printable color layers and prep files for the risograph process.In the second half of class, students will print their posters on the risograph printer and leave with their own vibrant art prints to take home.No prior design experience is required. Just come ready to experiment and make something fun.Students must bring their own laptop. Access to Figma and all printing materials will be provided.This workshop will be taking place at District Riso's studio at 52 O Street NW, Unit L6, Washington DC 20001.
