DC Audubon Society Bird Walk at Hains Point
Join DC Audubon Society as we kick off the New Year with a bird walk at Hains Point. Located at the southern tip of East Potomac Park, Hains Point offers view of the Washington Channel and Potomac River. It's a great location for viewing mergansers, grebes, buffleheads, and other waterfowl. We also hope to see DC's winter residents, including chickadees, kinglets, and woodpeckers.
Note: Hains Point can flood after heavy rain. If the weather doesn't cooperate, we will notify participants and relocate to Constitution Gardens.
