Washington D.C.’s most unapologetic celebration of its own electronic music identity returns—and this time, we’re honoring the city’s past, present, and future with a lineup that captures the full arc of its global impact. DC AS F*** brings together two generations of D.C.-rooted artists whose sounds have shaped dance floors around the world: Deep Dish and Enamour.

Long before Washington was known for its forward-thinking club culture, Deep Dish—the duo of Ali “Dubfire” Shirazinia and Sharam Tayebi—put the city on the map. Their groundbreaking 1998 album Junk Science blended deep house, Chicago techno, jazz-soaked soul, and widescreen atmospheres into a sound that was as emotional as it was innovative. Tracks like “The Future of the Future (Stay Gold)” became global anthems, while their remixes for Gabrielle, Morel, Beth Orton, and countless others defined a new era of genre-bending dance music.

From founding Deep Dish Records and Yoshitoshi, to holding residencies at legendary clubs like Twilo, The End, and Renaissance, to shaping mid-90s deep house alongside icons like BT and Danny Tenaglia—their legacy is one of fearless experimentation and pure musical curiosity. They showed the world that D.C. wasn’t just watching the scene evolve—it was helping lead it.


Carrying that spirit forward is Enamour, whose rise has mirrored Deep Dish’s in all the ways that matter: boundary-blurring, emotionally rich, and technically masterful. Raised just outside D.C., Michael Gold’s musical foundation in jazz, indie, and electronic music has propelled him into one of the most compelling voices in today’s melodic and progressive landscape.

His productions—championed by Solomun, Black Coffee, Sasha, Lane 8, Guy J, and more—blend depth, hypnotic groove, and a darkly cinematic touch. With releases on Diynamic, Anjunadeep, Crosstown Rebels, and Last Night on Earth, plus standout remixes for artists like RÜFÜS DU SOL and Above & Beyond, Enamour has established himself as a global presence while staying true to the instincts shaped in his D.C. upbringing.
