Join us at the Toombs House Crafting Circle as we prepare for the Chinese New Year, celebrating the Year of the Horse! We will immerse ourselves in the rich culture and traditions of the festival by crafting colorful Chinese lanterns.
Chinese Lanterns have a long history in Chinese culture, symbolizing the reunion of family and welcoming good fortune. Traditionally, they are hung during celebrations to illuminate the night and invite prosperity in the coming year. The lanterns are often red, symbolizing happiness and good luck, and they feature various designs that can represent wishes for a fruitful year ahead.
