In this workshop, you’ll learn how to design and construct a ceramic to-go style tumbler cup using hand-building techniques. We’ll guide you through shaping a comfortable, travel-friendly form, adding texture or surface design, and creating a fitted lid and straw opening so your cup is both beautiful and practical for everyday use.

This class is beginner-friendly and perfect for anyone who loves iced coffee, smoothies, or just wants a personalized alternative to disposable cups. You’ll choose your clay, design your style, and finish with your own glaze colors after the first firing.

All materials, glazing, and kiln firing are included. Finished tumblers will be food-safe and ready for pickup in about 3 weeks.

After the class the mugs will need to dry for approximately 1- 2 weeks and be fired in the kiln before glazes may be added.  You can come back and glaze them yourselves, or we can glaze them for you at no additional cost.
