On the fourth Saturday of April, Rails to Trails Conservancy invites everyone, everywhere, to join us outside for Celebrate Trails Day—our annual springtime celebration of America’s trails!
For years, we’ve teamed up with hundreds of partners to plan cleanups, group walks, rides, runs, community festivals, and other types of fun events and activities along trails for the celebration ... but 2026 will be special.
It's America's 250th birthday and it marks 40 years of RTC's leadership, uniting the country by trail. We can't wait to celebrate with you and make this year's festivities the biggest and best yet so we can lift up our appreciation for the tens of thousands of miles of trails that make it possible for us to get outside.

However you choose to celebrate, share your adventures with us using #CelebrateTrails and by tagging us, @RailsToTrails!
