Join CSW on August 11 for our next educational workshop, Screenplay Writing: The 3-Point Scene, presented by writer, coach and story consultant, Drew Brody.
About the Workshop:
Whether you’re just starting to think about writing your first screenplay or you’ve already written several scripts you love, this workshop will help you learn how to improve your scene work. Script consultant and story coach Drew Brody will introduce the 3-Point Scene writing tool through analysis of outstanding scenes from great movies, good scenes that could have been better, and terrible scenes that never should have made it to the screen.
Bring your laptop or notepad and come ready to improve your craft. The workshop will include time to ask questions and mingle with Drew and other writers. Refreshments will be served.

About the Presenter:
Drew Brody has worked as a story consultant and coach to Hollywood writers for more than two decades. For six years, he was a thesis advisor in the Masters in Humanities department at Mount Saint Mary’s University in Los Angeles, where he taught classes in screenwriting and playwriting and helped to develop and launch the university’s MFA Screenwriting program. Writers who have worked with Drew have collectively written dozens of published novels, scores of paid screenplays, hundreds of hours of Emmy-award winning television content, and several studio movies that have grossed $100M+ worldwide.
