This year's series takes place in 3 different locations across the District, including the National Mall the first time ever.The series continues on Saturday, August 22 with a screening of the 1991 cult classic film New Jack City (R), starring Wesley Snipes. It's taking place by the Washington Monument at the Sylvan Theater. The evening will begin with a guest DJ set at 7pm, followed by the film at 8:30pm. It is strongly encouraged for you to bring your own lawn chairs or blankets. The event is free and open to the general public (this film is rated-R and intended for mature audiences).*Please be mindful there will be road closures and restricted parking east of 14th Street NW due to a race event in DC that weekend.
