Blencathra Sharp Edge Guided Scramble
A Lake District classic! perhaps the most adventurous route to the summit of Blencathera.(868m). Sharp Edge is on every keen scramblers to do list, and for good reason! Compromised of “Skiddaw slate” and gouged out by glacial movements thousands of years ago, the views are impressive at every point of the walk, as well as from the high points!
Sharp edge gets its name for a reason, it is a knifes edge ridge that requires a cool head to tackle the exposed airy terrain.
