All pre-registered players must be checked in and paid by 6:30pm or teams who are not pre-registered may enter on a first come first serve basis. Races depend on the match-up. Note, no player is assigned a skill level lower than 3. Skill Level Tiers: High: Combined skill level 11 or 12 Medium: Combined skill level 9 or 10 Low: Combined skill level 8 or below Races: High vs. High: 4-4 High vs. Medium: 4-3 High vs. Low: 5-3 Medium vs. Medium: 3-3 Medium vs. Low: 4-3 Low vs. Low: 3-3 UPDATED SKILL LEVEL INFO: If the player has a FargoRate with 200+ robustness, that will be converted to a Pool Players in the District skill level (levels 3 through 9) using the following conversions: Less than 350 = 3 350 to 399 = 4 400 to 449 = 5 450 to 499 = 6 500 to 549 = 7 550 to 599 = 8 600 to 649 = 9 650 or more = sorry – you do not qualify! If the player does not have a robust FargoRate (200+ robustness), then the tournament directors will determine the skill level, erring on the high side. The tournament directors will base that skill level on relevant information, e.g., preliminary FargoRate, skill levels from leagues, the pre-existing knowledge of a disinterested party who the directors trust, observed play before the tournament, etc. With no reliable background information, a player will start as a 7 in doubles. If mid-tournament it becomes clear that a player should have a higher skill level, the tournament directors may increase the skill level between matches.
