Together, we will explore the symbolic and physical meaning of circles across art, culture, and nature while learning the mechanics of drawing a large circular form with a single brushstroke.Mochi will also share insights from Japanese Zen practice and how meditation informs artistic expression.The experience will include a 10-minute guided meditation to cultivate stillness and calm. From that quiet space, each participant will pick up a brush and create their own circular symbol in one continuous stroke. Your circle might represent the moon, an eye, an egg, a clock, a wheel, a coin—or anything meaningful to you.Mochi will demonstrate the technique and provide guidance and support as each participant creates their piece.This workshop is about presence, intention, and the beauty of a single mark.
