A Trinity University graduate, she received her B.A and M.A. in Communications. Charity’s natural stage presence and charm have earned her hosting accolades, at events including Poetry SLAMS for DC SCORES (2013-2016), the America SCORES New York National Poetry SLAM! (2015 -2016), Busboys and Poets Open Mics (2016-Current), the Our Words Our City Poetry Showcase (2017), the Women’s March Open Mic (2017), and many more. She has performed original work on international networks including the BBC and throughout the East Coast. She is currently working on her first book of poems.
