Program Topics

Non-Surgical Treatment of Melanoma; Prevention Strategies and Safety Measures for Active Shooter and Workplace Violence; Preparing for Mass Casualty; Burn Trauma Patient-Resuscitation and Postopertive Care; Human Trafficking; CPAN/CAPA Certification

6 contact hours approved

Outcome:  To enable the nurse to increase knowledge on workplace safety and in the care of the complex patient in the perianesthesia setting.

Target Audience:  All perianesthesia nurses

Overall Program Objective:  Discuss workplace safety and the care of the complex patient in the perianesthesia setting.

Accreditation:  This activity has bee submitted for the American Society of Perianesthesia Nurses for apporval to award contact hours.  The American Society of Perianesthesia Nurses is accredited as an apporver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Crednetialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
