Microplastics Workshop for Home Schoolers

Ages: 8-13

In partnership with Georgian Bay Forever and the Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority

Dive into science with this hands-on workshop designed for kids! Through interactive activities and real scientific exploration, participants will discover how microplastics affect our environment and brainstorm creative solutions with their peers.

Participants will:

• Collect water samples
• Record and analyze data using real equipment
• Learn practical ways to protect our ecosystems

This dynamic program empowers young learners with the tools and knowledge to take on real-world environmental challenges—while having fun along the way!
