Edible and medicinal mushroom species we may find here: Chicken of the woods, Lactarius spp., boletes, turkey tail. Participants will receive a mushroom anatomy handout to help understand and practice identification techniques in the field.What to bring:Weather-appropriate clothing and footwearWater and snacks if desiredA notebook and pen for taking notesA camera and/or field guides if you wish to use themPlease come prepared for varying weather conditions, including sun or rain.Important: This workshop is strictly educational and focused on mushroom identification and ecology. Foraging is prohibited in provincial parks.
