The Rewards of a Well Workplace
Learn How Small Businesses Can Earn up to 8% Back With Wellness
Join us for a workshop sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield of RI (BCBSRI) and The Hilb Group of New England on a new way business owners can mitigate health insurance premium costs.
This brand new program, Wellness Premium Rewards©, allows companies with fewer than 50 employees to earn as much as 8% back on their medical premiums – automatically. Employees simply complete wellness activities and earn up to $200 a year for participating. And employers receive a percent of their total annual medical premium based on average employee participation. For a typical 25-employee company, that could mean as much as $25,000 in rewards. Learn more about the program here.
At the session, you’ll hear from:
Jessica Marfeo, Director, Product Strategy & Development at BCBSRI, will discuss the program, how to get started, proven ways to encourage participation, and where to get support.
John Davia, Lead Wellness Consultant for BCBSRI, will provide tips employers can share with employees to help get them started tracking their healthy activities and earning points.
Cathleen Alexander, Senior Vice President, Employee Benefits at The Hilb Group of New England, will talk about the importance of a healthy workplace culture at small businesses and how to integrate the program with premium differentials and paid time off incentives.
Chris Cote, Managing Director, London Health Administrators, Ltd., will share details about incorporating this program with consumer driven strategies like HRAs and HSAs.
Attendees who provide their cell phone numbers when registering will also get to view a demo of the program app in action at the event and be entered into a raffle to win wearable devices for their employees. Discounted wearables will also be available for sale at the workshop.
