WHY: Come and learn about our organization! Join us for a weekend of fun, learning, and community. Find out about helpful resources, explore the newest assistive technology, and make connections! NFB conventions change lives because we know that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. Blindness is not what holds you back.

Silver Lining Technologies will demonstrate useful features of Amazon Echo and Google Home from a blindness perspective. Your own Hands free automated attendant! Check out the latest blindness and low vision products available by HIMS! Come and learn about OrCam’s wearable assistive technology solution! OrCam MyEye! Learn about ways to access NFB Newsline! Free access to your favorite news content on the phone, on the Web and on the go! Come and learn about accessible TV equipment that Verizon and Cox have to offer!
