This Reiki course is an in-person attendance only program. It is held over two consecutive Sundays, September 14th from 12:00 PM- 2:00 PM, September 21st from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM
In this foundational class, Donnalynn introduces students to the principles and practices of Animal Reiki and energy healing. The course explores how Reiki benefits animals of all kinds—pets, farm animals, and wildlife—through both physical and long-distance techniques. Emphasis is placed on respecting animal autonomy and the importance of receiving energetic permission before beginning any session.
Students will learn about the chakra systems in animals, including bud and minor chakras, and how to use pendulums for energetic assessment and communication. Practical, hands-on exercises include working with chakra maps and energy illustrations to enhance intuitive healing skills.
The class also covers how to integrate crystals and essential oils into healing sessions and how to assess and support animals experiencing emotional and physical challenges such as grief, anxiety, injury, and end-of-life care. Communication techniques are taught to better connect with animals during sessions, and students learn how to guide human caregivers with supportive mantras and at-home energy practices.
Additionally, students explore spiritual connections by discovering their animal totems and learning how animals appear in tarot and other metaphysical traditions.

Donnalynn's background includes a BFA and an MA in the Arts, as well as studies in Buddhism, Ancient Egyptian traditions, and Native American cultures. After adopting my rescue dog, Sasha, she found profound healing through her unconditional love. Together, they embarked on a journey of spiritual study, exploring Reiki, Metaphysics, Dowsing/Pendulum work, Chakra, and Crystal Healing. Donnalynn became a Reiki Master under the guidance of Melissa Paone Somma, following the Mikao Usui Reiki tradition at the Light Club Curiosity Shoppe.
