If weighing in on the day of competing, weigh in is 8 to 8.30am. Barbell Training Complex is the home of some of the best powerlifters in the UK and has the iconic EliteFTS monolift that has seen some of the biggest squats in the Islands, and the only 1000lb squat done in the 2020s in UK! The gym boasts a strong team of lifters, including the likes of 280kg raw bencher Sam Drozdzik and 440kg single ply squatter, Gym’s Primus Motor, Eliot Page. And it is the home of Mr. Photograph, Marco ‘Sumo’ Tambis! This competition will suit novice lifters with lot of support going around and plenty of space to warm up and cool your nerves! For the experienced the hosts Eiot with Emma and Kalle offer quality competition arrangements, strong spotters and very, very good equipment to lift on.
