- **Event Description**: Join us for the 2026 Vic Bliss Memorial Crappie Tournament as we gather once again at Truman Lake to honor the memory of our Dear friend, Vic Bliss.

This tournament is a long-standing tradition carried on by Vic's long-time friends, Bob Lee and John McDonald. We invite all friends, family, and fellow anglers to spend a day on the water celebrating Vic's legacy the way he would have wanted -- with a fishing rod in hand and a fish fry to follow.

Date: April 25th, 2026

Time: 7:00am – 5:00pm

Location: Truman Lake at Sterett Creek

Cost: $66.00 per boat (Entry includes BIG FISH pay out!)

Special Event: Join us for a fish fry on Saturday after the tournament.

Tournament Rules
Deadlines: Money and entry forms are due by April 17th. Mail entry forms and payment to:

John McDonald: 245 Bristol Bay Dr, Unit 3B, Lake Ozark, MO 65049

Bob Lee: 20022 Cole Rd, Kearney, MO 64060 (or hand-deliver to Bob).

Boat Capacity: Maximum of three adults per boat with an optional child (10 or under).

Regulations: Missouri State Rules followed for size/length and quantity, as well as fishing licenses, boating courtesy, etc.

Scoring: Maximum number of fish to weigh is 15 per boat. Your largest fish will also be weighed separately. Children will be eligible for the largest fish at weigh-in.

Weigh-In: Must be on the dock with fish to initial the sign-in sheet by the 5:00pm deadline. One pound will be deducted for every minute past this deadline. Any undersized fish result in automatic disqualification.

Payouts: Based on 10 boats—paying 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. If more than 10 boats, paying 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place as well as largest fish.

Child Entry: The optional child (10 or under) has no boat fees.
