Maundy Thursday Soup & Bread Pot-Luck Dinner

You’re invited to a Maundy Thursday Soup & Bread Pot-Luck Dinner—a relaxed, welcoming evening centered on sharing a meal, meaningful stories, and genuine connection. We’ll gather in the Ministry Center at Valley Chapel Free Methodist Church to share soup and bread together pot-luck style—everyone is invited to bring a pot of soup or a loaf of bread to share, if they’re able. There will be plenty to go around, and no one should feel pressure if they can’t bring something. During the meal, we’ll hear a short story from the life of Jesus connected to Maundy Thursday, and we’ll make space to listen to one another. Some may choose to share how they’ve experienced hope, healing, or direction in their lives—but sharing is always optional. You’re welcome to simply listen and enjoy the evening. This is a great night to bring a friend, neighbor, or family member—especially someone who may be new to church, curious about faith, or just looking for a meaningful way to connect with others. Come as you are, bring what you can, and know that you are welcome at the table.
