Join HumanTech Summit 2026 and Present Your Research

We invite submissions for the fifth edition of the international HumanTech Summit, organized by the HumanTech Center at SWPS University in Warsaw.

HumanTech Summit is an interdisciplinary event dedicated to the social and psychological aspects of emerging technologies. The conference brings together researchers, practitioners, designers, as well as representatives of business and the public sector, creating a space for meaningful exchange of knowledge and experience.

Keynote Speakers

We are honored to welcome four distinguished keynote speakers:

Dr. John-John Cabibihan, Ph.D. (Qatar University, Doha, Qatar) is a professor specializing in social robotics and human–robot interaction. He has authored over 200 publications, co-invented patents, co-founded the International Journal of Social Robotics, and initiated the International Conference on Social Robotics (ICSR).

Professor Joanna J. Bryson (Hertie School, Germany) is an internationally recognized expert in AI ethics at the intersection of psychology and artificial intelligence. She co-authored the British Principles of Robotics (2011), the first national code of ethics for AI, and published one of the earliest works on AI anthropomorphization, Just Another Artifact (1998).

Prof. Peng Liu (Zhejiang University, China) is an expert in the human and societal implications of emerging AI technologies, including generative AI and automated vehicles. His interdisciplinary research spans psychology, ethics, and technology, with publications in leading journals such as Engineering, Risk Analysis, and Cognition. He has been recognized among the world's top 2% scientists by Stanford University and Elsevier (2021–2024) and received the IEA/Kingfar Early Career Researcher Award in 2024.

Virginia Dignum (Umeå University, Sweden) is Professor of Responsible Artificial Intelligence and leads the AI Policy Lab. She is also senior advisor on AI policy to the Wallenberg Foundations and chair of the ACM’s Technology Policy Council. She has a PHD in Artificial Intelligence from Utrecht University (2004), was appointed Wallenberg Scholar in 2024, is member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA), and a Fellow of the European Artificial Intelligence Association (EURAI), and of ELLIS (European Laboratory of Learning and Intelligent Systems). She is also member of the UNESCO’s expert group on the implementation of AI recommendations, the OECD’s Expert group on AI, and founder of ALLAI, the Dutch AI Alliance. She has been a member of the United Nations Advisory Body on AI, the EU’s High Level Expert Group on Artificial Intelligence, co-chair of the WEF’s Global Future Council on AI, and leader of UNICEF's guidance for AI and children.  In 2026, she received the Nordic DAIR Awards Lifetime Achievement in AI. She has over 300 peer-reviewed articles in major international journals, conferences and workshops with over 27000 citations. Her new book “The AI Paradox” (2026) is published by Princeton University Press.
