Historia towarzyska to jubileuszowa wystawa poświęcona 70-letniej historii galerii działającej nieprzerwanie w tym samym miejscu. Punktem wyjścia jest archiwum: fotografie, korespondencja, katalogi i dokumenty, które pozostały po tysiącach spotkań, rozmów i relacji budowanych przez kolejne pokolenia osób artystycznych, kuratorskich, odbiorczyń i odbiorców. W ciągu tych siedmiu dekad w galerii gościło ponad tysiąc artystek i artystów, a sama instytucja stała się ważnym miejscem wymiany myśli, nawiązywania znajomości i rozwoju środowiska sztuki współczesnej. 

Wystawie towarzyszyć będzie rozbudowany program towarzyszący stworzony we współpracy z Fundacją Arton i TURNUSEM.

Social History is an anniversary exhibition dedicated to the 70-year history of a gallery that has operated continuously in the same location. The starting point is the archive: photographs, correspondence, catalogs, and documents that remain from thousands of meetings, conversations, and relationships built by successive generations of artists, curators, and audiences. Over these seven decades, the gallery has hosted more than a thousand artists, and the institution itself has become an important place for the exchange of ideas, forming connections, and the development of the contemporary art community.

The exhibition will be accompanied by an extensive public program created in collaboration with Fundacja Arton and TURNUS.
