A Hole in My Genes is a raw and ultimately uplifting indie memoir by Warrnambool's Dr Jodie Fleming, which out-sold all mainstream domestic and international titles in the store for 2019.
This powerful book chronicles her transition from cancer psychologist, to patient, to survivor, through a time fraught with personal and professional challenges.
On Saturday, April 18, we will be hosting our very first book club event, where we will discuss Jodie's bare-all writing style, her journey, and the overriding themes of her book.
Red and sparkling wine + nibbles will be provided. Places are strictly limited; bookings essential.
