Dive into basic jewelry metalsmithing! In this hands-on, three-week workshop, you’ll learn and practice a variety of skills to design and create your own projects!
Projects options include:
RINGS – wire and copper carved
Pierced Metal Pendant ( or keychain)
Stamped Metal Bangle
Rivet pendant, folding, dapping
The Instructor may swap out projects if the general skill of the class is higher/lower than the skill level of the project.
Safety will be reviewed at the beginning of every class, with a demonstration and hands on learning.
Materials: Brass, Nickel Silver, Copper, Aluminum
1.Safety glasses will be worn by students while working in the art studio
2. Closed toed shoes such as sneakers, clogs or boots are to be worn during class. – Please NO flip-flops or sandals
