Warren needs several groups of 5 volunteers each, to regularly water trees during our upcoming Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons. In partnership with the town, 18 street trees were planted in Warren this year, and more newly donated trees at Burr's Hill Park. Now we are counting on people power to keep them healthy for two years until they are established.

- Sign up with the whole family! A great way for families to get 
  kids outside, off their screens, and exercising! Walk or bike 
  around tree locations across town on the weekends. You can 
  use the gift cards as a $ piggy bank allowance for your kids, 
  and teach them about trees. 

A volunteer will: 
- Take turns watering trees with a team once a week throughout 
  the season in a specific area, supported by a team captain 
- Get free training on tree care and urban forests 
- Be equipped with supplies to share among their team 
- Receive a free T-shirt and water bottle
- Be eligible for a $100 gift card per season

A volunteer captain will: 
- Help us organize an orientation walking tour day at the
  beginning of each season 
- Share your knowledge about the importance of trees and 
  urban forestry 
- Coordinate and communicate with team members to make 
  sure all trees in your street area are watered twice a week 
- Participate in a Tree Steward class, and receive expert training 
  from project partners 
- Be equipped with supplies to share among their team 
- Receive a $100 gift card per season and an additional incentive 
  (choose between a town beach parking pass OR warren 
  newspaper subscription)
