Weekly Themes for Summer of 2025 are as follows

1- Aloha Summer: Say aloha summer! Our week will be inspired by adventures above and below the ocean. We will be in search of fun adventures that scream the tropics. This week is all about having fun getting wet and staying cool through it all

2- The Great Outdoors: Camp is all about the great outdoors, whether inspired by nature or inspired by madness. Campers will have the chance to explore acts of kindness. They will learn what it means to serve their family, friends and neighbors and positive kind hearted ways!

3- Super Heros / Princesses: Calling all royalty and heroes! Campers will step into a world of magic and bravery with costumes, cape and crown decorating, a character scavenger hunt, and dance parties. Whether they dream of saving the day or ruling a kingdom, this camp is full of imagination and fun!

4- Mad Science: This week's focus: empowering the next generation of innovators. Campers will develop ideas, create prototypes and participate in a camp, classic the bad idea contest!

5- Red, White, and Blue / Party in the USA: Oh say can you see... Another amazing week of summer camp? We will celebrate the birth of our great country with patriotic themed events.

6- SplashTopia: Beat the heat and dive into summer camp this week. We will be making a big splash with water activities, galore, squirt gun challenges, water relays, Water Olympics and Family Engagement at the Cortland Splash Pad!

7- Mystery: Uncover the secrets at Shining Stars, where campers become detectives on an exciting quest to solve the ultimate camp mystery! Through scavenger hunts, clue-finding challenges, and problem-solving activities, they’ll develop teamwork and critical thinking skills while having a blast unraveling puzzles and uncovering hidden surprises. Are you ready to crack the case?

8- Under the Sea: Dive into the magic of the ocean with our ‘Under the Sea’ themed summer camp session! Explore the wonders of marine life through an exciting blend of activities. Campers will engage in STEM experiments to understand the ocean’s science, create captivating sea-themed crafts using shells, seaglass, and recycled materials, participate in theater workshops to bring underwater tales to life, and enjoy a variety of games inspired by the ocean’s mysteries. Get ready for an immersive journey beneath the waves where creativity, learning, and fun collide!

9- Olympics: Take a break from the classic team sports we all know and join us for some obscure sports. Work with your group to create a new sport and try it out this week!

10- Make it Messy: Bust out your old T-shirts for the messiest week ever! Each day brings a new project as we explore the messiest of the mess activities. Our favorite games will have a messy twist. Does it get messier than volcanic eruptions? Let's find out?!

11- Y-Tube - Find Your Y: Summer is full of exploring. What better place to start than with ourselves? Campers will identify their strengths, discover interest, and uncover inspirations as they participate in activities like "create your own adventure".

12- Wild Discovery: Campers will see the natural world from different perspectives as they scan the treetops on a trail hike and examine the ground beneath them on a exploring adventure.
