First cut of holes 12-17 of the Hatch Run Heritage disc golf course.
Volunteers who complete a liability waiver can use hand tools, and if equipped with chaps, helmet, eye and ear protection, and chainsaw, can get approved to buck and limb downed trees.
Useful implements of construction are loppers, pruning saws, peaveys, 4-wheel drive utility cart with dump bed, gloves, and boots.
We hope to get a PDGA Throw Green grant to complete some environmentally friendly projects with this course construction.
This project was financed in part by a grant from the Community Conservation Partnerships Program, Heritage Area Funding, under the administration of the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Bureau of Recreation and Conservation.
