We will also be electing the Executive Committee for 2026/2027, including the roles of President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer HMBA CROSS COUNTRY RACE TIME: Race to start at 9.30am. LOCATION: Awaba ONLINE REGISTRATION ONLY: https://my.raceresult.com/clubs/7039/ RACE FORMAT: Set number of laps of 5-6km long track GRADES: Men: A (5 laps), B (4 laps), C (3 laps) and D (2 laps) grade. Women: A (4 laps), B (3 laps), C (2 laps) and D (1 lap) grade Juniors: E Grade (either 1 lap of main course or 2-4 laps of shortened course - TBA) E-bikes - Open Class COST: Senior Riders (over 18) - $20. Junior Riders (15 – 18 year old inclusive) - $10. Junior Riders (14 Years and under) - $5. $44 Event 1-Day Licence for Non-AusCycling Members - you will need to purchase this prior to the day of the event: https://www.auscycling.org.au/membership/other/event-licences **HMBA JUNIOR CROSS COUNTRY CLUB RACE** This is a separate introductory XC Race for U9 (2 laps), U11 (3 laps), U13 (4 laps) and U15 (5 laps) on a 1.8km loop of our Development Trail network. TIME:- After registering riders are to assemble at the shed next to the Development Trail.- Rider briefing on the start line at 7:55 am- Race start: 8:00 am sharp! To comply with AusCycling Race Safety Protocols Junior riders may only ride in their age group OR in Grade races, NOT BOTH!Please remember to bring your Race Plate - If you don't already have a Race Plate you will be assigned a race number during Registration and need to collect it from the Finish Line tent on the morning.Any volunteers who would like to assist with marshaling would be greatly appreciated. Please let the race organisers know if you can help. COST: Free. However, the child must be an AusCycling member or purchase a day licence (https://www.auscycling.org.au/membership/other/event-licences) or sign up for the "Free Trial" licence (https://www.auscycling.org.au/membership/other/free-trial). Entries will close at 8pm on Saturday before the event so the data file can be organised for the race - no exceptions - NO ENTRIES ON THE DAY.
