This is our favorite time of the evening - as you arrive, the farm is settling in for the day. Our final visitors are heading home, and the barn feels calm and unhurried. Begin by entering the barn to the Zen Bar, where you’re welcome to choose a beverage to enjoy. Picnic sized bottles of champagne, bespoke lavender mocktails, and our lavender infused beverage line, purpl, will be available. Your picnic basket will be packed and ready for the evening ahead.
Before heading out into the fields, you’ll receive simple instructions and tools to harvest a bundle of fresh lavender from the fields. From there, you’re free to wander the farm and settle in anywhere you’d like.
Sit fully immersed in the lavender, lounging picnic style on the blanket tucked inside your basket, or take a seat in one of the many adirondack chairs to see the full sea of purple stretch out over the hillside. Settle in, breathe it in, and enjoy the gentle sounds of the farm.
Inside your picnic basket, you’ll find a box of summer charcuterie, curated by Barrel and Baskit featuring a plentiful mix of seasonal fruits and vegetables, local meats and cheeses, crackers, spreads, and nuts; meant to be enjoyed slowly and shared. A lavender-infused dessert rounds out the evening with something sweet.
In this haven, the rest of the world fades away, leaving you with the opportunity to focus on the things that truly matter, be it the beauty of nature, the joy of shared moments, or the simple pleasure of being present in the here and now.
As the sun dips behind the hillside, you’ll make your way back to the softly twinkle lit barn to return your picnic basket and harvesting tools. Your hand picked lavender will be beautifully wrapped for you to take home, along with a care card featuring drying instructions and simple ways to enjoy your lavender long after the evening ends.
