Spring Equinox Guided Walk at RSPB Arne

Celebrate the return of Spring with us, by joining our Spring Equinox Guided Walk at RSPB Arne.

The equinox marks the date when day and night are almost of equal length and is officially the start of Astronomical Spring!

The balance of light and darkness links the equinox symbolically with new beginnings, renewal and hope. It’s the start of longer days and the turning point when nature ‘springs’ into action. Birds begin claiming territories, reptiles and insects emerge after the long winter months, leaves bud and flowers blossom.

Experience spring unfurling with us, as we stroll through ancient woodland and heathland, taking in the seasonal changes and connecting to nature.
