Our Christmas Winterfest Market at the Southern Maltings is always early and always a hit! This year it is on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th November and is our largest market over a whole weekend.
Southern Maltings will be packed to the rafters with two floors of curated, handpicked stalls with unique, handmade or boutique gifts and local produce, from makers, artists and small, local independent businesses.
This bumper market will be run across two floors at Southern Maltings and our Malt Garden, with approximately 45 stallholders. We will showcase local high-quality art, local produce and crafts, Christmas decorations and wreaths, toys, books, jewellery, handcrafted homeware and other small, local boutique businesses. Our events will help you discover new brands and services in your area and support the local community.
Start your Christmas shopping early and join us for all your shopping needs, and make Christmas 2026 extra special with a visit to our Christmas Winterfest Market.
Food and drinks also available including mulled wine and mince pies.
Entry is FREE but as a local charity operating in our community donations are always very welcome. Tickets are not required.
Public Pianos
Our public pianos will be out all weekend for anyone to play. There’s one on each floor. Take a seat and share your favourite Christmas tune — whether you’re a beginner or a regular performer, everyone’s welcome to join in the festive music.
Southern Maltings is the trading name of Ware Arts Centre Limited and is a registered charity (Registered charity no. 276998). All events are run by volunteers and proceeds go towards developing the Southern Maltings into an amazing creative arts centre which will enable us to put on a wider and more frequent range of events and activities for the whole community.
