And so - this months Community Day, Thurs 16th April, is for the Waratah Animal Shelter, a small one person run shelter run by Raewyn, right here here in Warburton.  

With 5kg of Joey milk costing $205 at Bunnings - its hard to imagine just how far that goes (or doesn't). We'd send across buckets of chai ... but don't think Joeys go for our chai. 

HOW CAN WE / YOU HELP?
On Thursday 16th April we'll be donating 10% of ALL our sales to the wildlife shelter.  You can help us to make it a success by:

ABOUT BABAJIS & OUR COMMUNITY DAYS:
We're Babajis Kerala Kitchen, community oriented South Indian restaurant right by the river in Warburton, Yarra Valley.

Our Community Days are held once a month at Babajis from Feb-Nov, where we donate 10% of our sales to a local community group.

Over the years, we've donated funds to the Upper Yarra Garden Club, Gladysdale Primary, Wessie Dog Obedience Club, the SES and others 

If you would like your group to be considered for future community days - please get in touch with us at info@babajiskitchen.com.au and let us know what you're raising funds for. 

We are especially keen to support smaller groups in our community who struggle to get funding.
