Experience the profound stillness and of this ancient forest which has links to Gondwanaland.Be refreshed by some of the cleanest air in the world!A Forest Therapy walk gives you a unique perspective and includes activities to help you relax, such as deep breathing, stretching and sensory immersion. Be inspired by science and poetry and finish up with a delicious cup of herbal tea and light snack.Forest Therapy / Shinrin Yoku is an evidence based practice that can reduce the effects of stress, help to enhance your immune system and improve mood. Learn about how spending time in nature improves your health.Shinrin Yoku North West has been bringing this experience of deep relaxation to NW Tasmania for over 5 years.This intimate walk is limited to 9 people so book now to avoid disappointment.Location : The reserve is on the B23 rd to Corinna, 10kms out of Warratah. Meet in the reserve carpark at 9:50am sharp.Toilets: The nearest toilets are located 10mins away in the township of Waratah, next to the post office.Clothing: Please dress to be warm while standing still and bring something to sit on such as raincoat. Water proof shoes are recommened.Weather: In the event of rain the walk will still go ahead. It will only be cancelled in event of dangerous weather and a full refund issued.Please Note: While we endeavor to make our walks accessible this walk is NOT suitable for people with mobility issues. This is a remote location so please come prepared for all types of weather, the forest is often moist and muddy and theire are loose stones and tree roots. BYO water.
