Please be on time! Student should know and be able to perform all aspects of safe firearm handing, loading, and unloading, malfunction clearing. This course is designed to introduce the shooter to the art of revolver shooting. Students are expected to arrive 30 minutes before start time for set up and range safety briefing. Students should be able to move freely, kneel, squat, stand for extended periods of time. COURSE BREAKDOWN: – Range orientation – Firearms safety – Warm-up drills – Ready positions – Close quarters vs. distance engagements – Drawing and re-holstering techniques – Reloading techniques and malfunction clearance drills – Single hand techniques (right and left and transitions) – Presentation & draw techniques – Turning and shooting – Close range speed shooting – Dueling EQUIPMENT LIST: -Quality functional revolver -Minimum of 450 rounds of quality ammunition. -Belt mounted holster / kydex holster —PLEASE NO flimsy nylon or cloth holsters. NO BLACKHAWK SERPA, UNCLE MIKE’S, FOBUS, or ALIEN GEAR, holsters. We do not allow ankle, small of the back, or shoulder holsters.
