Shona Oxley and Deborah Hawthorne are diabetes educators and consultant pharmacists from North East Victoria, each working across multiple local health settings to support people living with diabetes.

They share a strong commitment to improving health equity for rural people, with a clear belief that your postcode should not determine the healthcare you can access. Their work focuses on closing the health gap between metropolitan and regional Australians and strengthening diabetes care across rural communities.

Shona & Debbie will be educating us around the increased risk of women developing diabetes in their menopausal years.

They will also be happy to answer any questions regarding medications for Menopause symptom treatment, so come ready with all your queries.
