🚴Roll On In for WHEELS DAY!🚴
Get ready to kick off your weekend with a whirl of colour, laughter, and wheels of every size.
👉On Saturday 28 February, from 12:30pm to 2:30pm, the Laird Park Netball Courts on 98 Peat Street are transforming into a buzzing playground for Wheels Day — this event comes with an extra burst of star power! 🌟Pulse Players🌟 will be joining the fun for a special meet and greet, making this the perfect afternoon for netball fans and wheel riders alike.
Whether you’re a speedster on two wheels, a scooter pro, or a toddler just finding your balance, there’s a spot waiting for you. The top courts will be home to bikes and scooters, while the bottom courts will be a safe, fun zone for balance bikes and our tiniest riders.
🤔What’s Happening on the Day? The afternoon is packed with activities designed to keep kids (and adults who still act like kids) entertained:
• A 🌟Pulse Player🌟 meet and greet with Khiarna Williams, Holly Comyns, Ine-Mari Venter and Lily Gorman-Brown — say hello, grab a photo, and soak up some inspiration
• Chalk drawing to unleash your inner artist and add a splash of artistic flair to our boring cinderblock seating
• 💧Water play to cool off and get a little splashy in the summer heat
• 🏃♀️Obstacle course with challenges for the speedy and energetic. Bring your A game to complete this challenge with precision
• 🎁Spot prizes are popping up throughout the event, both at random and to reward superstar achievements
It’s the kind of day where imaginations will have space to run wild, wheels will have room to spin fast, and aspiring Pulse Players will get to meet their heroes in person.
🍦☕️🥤Don’t forget to fuel up at the canteen! Good adventures need good snacks. The canteen will be open with: Ice creams, cold drinks and coffee. Perfect for a mid ride break or a treat after conquering the obstacle course.
🛼🛴All ages and all wheels welcome. Bring your bike, your scooter, your balance bike — or just bring your enthusiasm. Wheels Day is all about community, play, and making the most of a Summer afternoon.☀️
