Give it a Go – Drypoint Printmaking
When: Saturday, November 22: 10am - 12:00pm

Drypoint is an intaglio printmaking method that involves scratching an image into a plate with a pointed tool. These lines create a burr that holds ink, meaning that the print reveals the drawing. During this workshop you will create a small plate and learn to ink, then print using a press.
Suitable for ages 12 through to Adults

Give it a Go – Monoprinting
When: Saturday, November 22: 12.30pm - 2:30pm
Cost: $10pp
A monoprint is a form of printmaking in which an image is made from a smooth surface or ‘plate’ coated in printing ink. In contrast with other printing techniques, only one final image is made, making the technique closer to drawing or painting than other print processes.During this workshop you will experiment with a range of materials and techniques to create experimental monoprint plates that will be printed using a press.
