The 100th Quadrangular Tournament, hosted by Whanganui Collegiate School, marks a major milestone in one of New Zealand's great school sporting traditions. 

Thursday 18 June – Fixtures 

12:00pm – Christ's College vs Nelson College
1:40pm – WCS vs Wellington College

NCOBA Main Event – Thursday 18 June, 4:00pm Following the final whistle on Thursday, the Nelson College Old Boys' Association will host our main gathering from 4:00pm at the Barracks Bar - 170 Saint Hill Street, Whanganui.

This event is open to all Old Boys, parents and supporters. We warmly encourage everyone to come down after the casual function at Whanganui Big School (McKinnon Building Common Room) and continue the afternoon with us. 

While Quad rugby is always fiercely contested, this milestone year is about more than just the games. It's about camaraderie, shared history, and the opportunity to reconnect with Old Boys travelling from all corners of New Zealand and around the globe. The 100th Quad is a rare chance to celebrate the traditions that bind us together.

The Whanganui Collegiate School events are ticketed and require registration directly with the school. Links to register will be provided shortly. 

Friday 19 June – Hosted by Whanganui Collegiate School 

Cocktail Event in Big School, followed by the main celebration — The 100th Gala Dinner.
The Gala Dinner will be held in the school's Izard facility, with tables sold in tens. 

Saturday 20 June – Finals 

11:40am – 2026 Minor Final
1:10pm – 2026 Quadrangular Final 

Following the final game on Saturday, NCOBA Old Boys will gather again at the Barracks Bar from 4:00pm — a final opportunity over the weekend to reconnect, reflect on the tournament, and continue the Quad camaraderie. 

If you can't make it to Whanganui, all matches will be televised live on Sky TV so you can follow the action from wherever you are. 

We look forward to seeing a strong Nelson presence as we celebrate this historic 100th Quad.
