Conducted in partnership with the New York State Archaeological Association and SUNY Schenectady’s Community Archaeology Program, this research sheds new light on a critical moment in our nation’s past.
David Moyer serves as Vice President of the New York State Archaeological Association and is Director of the Roland B. Hill Memorial Museum of Archaeology in Otego, NY, operated by the Upper Susquehanna Chapter of NYSAA. A Registered Professional Archaeologist, he is also the owner and principal investigator of Birchwood Archaeological Services, Inc., a cultural resources consulting firm based in Gilbertsville, NY. In addition, he serves on the Board of Directors for the Susquehanna River Archaeological Center (SRAC) in Waverly, NY, and has authored numerous archaeological reports, journal articles, and conference papers.
