- **Event Description**: Join us for Pillowy Perfection: Handmade Potato Gnocchi at the library for this hands-on workshop. Local Chef Tara Vitti will lead this class. Participants will learn how potatoes, flour, and eggs work together to create tender gnocchi, master proper dough-handling techniques to avoid dense results, and practice shaping gnocchi using a fork. The class will also cover how to correctly cook and sauce gnocchi, leaving participants with the confidence to recreate pillowy, homemade gnocchi in their own kitchens. Participants will also leave with their own batch of fresh gnocchi, ready to cook at home that evening, or freeze for later.  Space is limited to 10 participants, pre-registration required by calling the library at 607-865-5929. There will be two classes offered, each with 10 participants. One is March 4th and the other is April 1st. Registration for both will be at the same time.  

 The April 1st class is full, however there is some room on the waitlist.
