Our three-hour Menopause Yoga Workshops are designed to support and empower women at every stage of the menopause journey - from perimenopause to post-menopause.
Led by Alex Swain, a compassionate and accredited Menopause Yoga teacher (trained with My Yoga founder Petra Coveney), these workshops offer a unique, nurturing space where you can pause, reflect, learn, and heal alongside a community of women who truly understand what you’re going through.
Menopause is a natural and powerful phase in every woman’s life, but it can also bring with it physical, emotional, and mental challenges. From brain fog and low mood to hot flushes, anxiety, disrupted sleep, and fatigue, these symptoms can impact your quality of life and sense of self.
Menopause Yoga is specially designed to help you manage and move through these changes with more ease, balance, and self-compassion. Rooted in both modern science and ancient wisdom, this practice offers far more than just movement, it’s about reconnecting with yourself and understanding what’s happening in your body.
What to Expect in the Workshops
Each 3-hour session is a beautiful blend of:
Gentle Yin & Restorative Yoga
Postures are soothing and accessible, designed to calm the nervous system, ease tension, and help regulate hormones. This isn’t about pushing or performing — it’s about resting, releasing, and rebalancing.
Breathwork, Meditation & Deep Relaxation
Learn simple, effective techniques to support you through hot flushes, overwhelm, sleeplessness, and anxious thoughts — tools you can take home and use daily.
Supportive Sharing Circle
You’ll be held in a safe, confidential, and female-only space, where you’re invited (never pressured) to share your experiences, ask questions, and feel seen and supported. There’s immense healing in being witnessed and reminded: you are not alone.
Education & Empowerment
Alex brings her own experience and training to share up-to-date, clear, and compassionate information about what’s happening in your body. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of the hormonal changes behind your symptoms, and how yoga and lifestyle choices can help you navigate them more confidently.
These workshops are open to any woman at any stage of the menopause journey — whether you’re noticing early perimenopausal changes, actively experiencing menopause symptoms, or seeking support in post-menopause. Each workshop will have its own unique theme, naturally moving and flowing in rhythm with the seasons.
No previous yoga experience is necessary. You are welcome exactly as you are.

Equipment for these sessions will be provided. You may like to bring a journal/notebook- pen/pencil.
