Off The Track.

Well that went well! February's 'Off The Track' was another cracking night. Our guest, DJ XL brought her own take on proceedings with Electro Soul/Funk bringing the party to the Wheatsheaf. Many thanks to Ellayne for that. Next month we will be hitting the quality Jazz/Funk/Soul vinyl with our guest Clive Smith (aka. The Mexx). If you haven't heard Clive, you are seriously in for a treat. Killer Jazz Funk material will be the order of the day. Check Clive on his radio shows (jfsr.uk) Jazz Funk Soul Radio. Clive has been around since the early 80's when his first Strictly Soul/Funk & Dance sound system in Birmingham, the 'Shiftwork Soul Crew', was doing the business. Clive has been involved in all sorts of Soul/Funk/Jazz related goings on in and around Birmingham since those days. It's going to be another packer. Sunday March 1st 5pm start for the early connoisseur heat.
