The more it is studied, the more positive benefits seem to be revealed what our ancesters instinctively knew as do all drummers all over the world, so I am trying to make this an accesible activity open to all.We will begin with some warm up exercises as well as some discussion about the instruments and the culture, then I will introduce you to the instruments and begin the workshop using Djembe, Dun Duns, Bells n Shakers in the perfect uptown setting of Exhale Conscious Bar. Learn a bit about West African Percussion, the culture, the benefits of playing and make some music in a group.
