Walmer Castle Autumn / Winter Sound Baths

The Autumn season is here, starting the slow descent into colder and darker days whilst warm spells are still felt. At Walmer Castle you can really feel the seasons change through the surrounding gardens. These series will take us all the way to March at the end of Winter.

Each session is an enveloping, one-hour sound journey—an invitation to slow down, tune in, and see where the sound takes you. A space for deep listening and inner insights through sound.

Sound Emergence is a practice dedicated to bridging art, contemplative practices and community through sound. We work with groups and organisations, running regular sound baths and immersions in Kent and beyond. We also create site specific projects across historical sites, bringing people together through heritage, land and sound.

Come as you are, and let the sound carry you.
Join us for a monthly sound bath in the beautiful setting of this historical site.

For those not familiar with sound baths, it is often a deeply relaxing, meditative sound journey. For some people is an opportunity to go into meditative states of stilness whilst for others a more activating experience of self awareness.

You experience it laying down comfortably in a shared space with others.

Please bring a mat, blanket and pillow. If you can't bring one or more of this let me know so I can arrange.

As you drive through the gates, go all the way up past the Castle entrance on your left and further down where the holiday coattage is. Parking just opposite the cottage.
