Almost two years ago, we bought an old moving truck with the idea of transforming it into a technicolor, shimmering re-interpretation of our Bloom Room.
 
For nearly two years, we’ve been transforming that barebones box truck, piece by piece, flower by flower, bead by bead, bedazzle by bedazzle, into Electric Eden — an immersive world inspired by one tiny, extraordinary creature:  the hummingbird.

Have you ever wondered what it feels like to be a hummingbird?
Imagine hovering in front of a flower and then plunging your entire head inside. Suddenly you are surrounded by color. Nectar. Pollen. Petals. Sweetness. Everything enormous and luminous and deliciously overwhelming.

Electric Eden is what I imagine happens inside a hummingbird’s brain at that exact moment.

Except now you get to be the hummingbird.

Step through the doors of Electric Eden and into a world exploding with flowers, color, light, sparkle, strange treasures and tiny surprises. Look up. Look down. Look closely. There are things hiding everywhere.

Then emerge onto Electric Eden’s sprawling garden deck overlooking the Vermont hills and meadow — a place to wander, gather, sit, talk, eat a cupcake and stay awhile.
After almost two years of making, remaking, building, planting, painting, wiring and bedazzling, we’re throwing open the doors for one afternoon and inviting everyone to come experience Electric Eden.

Come see what happens when an old moving truck becomes a flower and you become the hummingbird. 🌺🐦✨

We’ll have lemonade and mini cupcakes for you to enjoy.

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE: ELECTRIC EDEN IS NOT AT THE SPARKLE BARN.
Electric Eden is located in back of Sparkle on the Rocks, across Route 7 from The Sparkle Barn.
Please pull into 1774 US 7 S and park in the front. From there, signs will direct you to Electric Eden in the back.

Can’t make the Open House?
Private Hummingbird Hours are coming this fall — small, intimate Electric Eden experiences for up to six people. More details and booking information coming soon.
